Porthouse set for Thoresby

Ian Porthouse will team up with Thoresby Colliery for Butlins.

Thoresby Colliery Band has announced that it will be reuniting with Tredegar MD, Ian Porthouse for its Butlins Mineworkers Championship appearance in January.

Busy

Despite a busy December schedule which included a number of sell–out concert the band told 4BR that it had already started work on its Butlins repertoire.

Looking forward

MD David Purkiss said: "2011 was a great year for the band and we aim to build on that in 2012. I have enjoyed every minute and am looking forward to working with Ian once again."
