The world premiere performance of Darrol Barry’s new brass quintet ‘Concertino’ was recently given by renowned French horn player Nathanial Wilson and colleagues from the US Naval Academy Band in a performance in Columbia, Maryland, USA.

‘Concertino’ was commissioned for Nathanial by his parents Tim & Gwen Wilson, musicians and teachers based at The American School, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.

The work was performed during a recital of new music for French horn and bass trombone. Darrol's work was the finale to the programme and was well received by performers and audience.
