The Hyde Band has been celebrating some end of season contesting success.

The Hyde Band is celebrating some end of season contesting success, following two runner up places at the recent Gloucestershire BBA Contest and the Wessex Open.

The band came second in the overall placings for the Highest First Section Band at the Wessex contest and fourth overall.

A spokesperson told 4BR: "The band played extremely well and we would like to thank our supporters for following our progress through the last six months."
