Masquerade to test English best at Preston

Philip Wilby’s demanding ‘Masquerade’ has been chosen as the set work for the English National Championships which will take place on the 23rd June next year in Preston.

Line up and judges

The organisers have also confirmed the bands that that have been invited to attend the event (using rankings as at 27th October 2011) as well as the adjudication team.

The winning band will represent England at the European Brass Band Championships in Oslo in 2013.

Judges

The adjudication panels for each discipline of the contest will chosen from David Read MBE, Nigel Boddice MBE, Stephen Roberts and Chris Wormald, with reserve list judges, John Berryman and Kevin Wadsworth.
