Special relationship set to bloom in Brum

Jaquar Land Rover and Central Florida set to cement special musical relationship in Birmingham.

Florida

There will be plenty of US/UK ‘special relationships’ on show this Thursday in the Midlands, when the Jaguar Land Rover Band will host Brass Band of Central Florida in a concert at the Adrian Boult Hall, Birmingham.

Growing connection

There has been a growing connection between the two bands ever since MD Dave Lea and Jaguar played at the US Open Championships in 2006 – and lost by a point to their rivals in their bid to claim the title.

"There has been a wonderful relationship between the two bands ever since," Dave told 4BR.

Rivals to start with but now great and friends and we are privileged to be able to host them on their return visit to these shoresMD, Dave Lea

Entertainment

"Rivals to start with but now great and friends and we are privileged to be able to host them on their return visit to these shores. It’s going to be a great night and we are sure there is going to be plenty of brass inspired entertainment on show for the audience."

Brass Band of Central Florida is in the UK, where next weekend they will take part in the Brass in Concert Championships at The Sage in Gateshead.
