Fairlop to remember inspirational player

The members of Fairlop Brass will remember a very special player as the death of 25 year old Holly Miller is reported.

Fairlop

Fairlop Brass has reported the tragic news of the death of baritone player Holly Miller at the tender age of 25.
She passed away on 29th October after a brave and dignified battle against a very rare form of cancer.

Inspiration

A spokesperson told 4BR: "During her illness she conducted herself in such a dignified manner that she was an inspiration to those around her."

They added: "Holly was originally a tenor horn player, but she typically put the band first and moved over to baritone a few years ago to cover an empty seat.

In her new position she blossomed and made it her own. She was diagnosed earlier this year, but did achieve one of her aims by being able to perform at the band’s summer concert in June."

During her illness she conducted herself in such a dignified manner that she was an inspiration to those around herFairlop Brass

Funeral

The funeral will take place on Friday 11th November at St. Margaret’s Church. Ilford, Essex.

Members of the band will perform prior to the service and provide the music for the two hymns.
