Workshop places open for BiC

The popular Brass in Concert workshops are open and ready for players young and old!

Sage

There are still some places left for the now well established workshops to be held as part of the Brass in Concert contest weekend at The Sage Gateshead on Saturday 19th November.

Tutors

A star studded line up of tutors will take the working groups, including Richard Marshall, John Doyle, Alison Childs, Katrina Marzella, Chris Jeans, Simon Gresswell, Simone Rebello and Laura Jackson.

The workshops will culminate in a performance by the ‘Workshop Band’, conducted by Philip Harper on the stage of Hall 1, as part of the afternoon concert that also includes Rochdale Borough Youth Band, the current Action Research Youth Champions.

The workshops are a great way for anyone to come along and enjoy what brass banding has to offerAlan Hope
