UniBrass 2012 has now kicked off with a fantastic response.

4BR has been informed that 13 bands have already entered on the first day alone, which means that thee is only 1 place left up for grabs.

A spokesperson told 4BR: "The entry forms can still be downloaded from www.unibrass.co.uk but you’ll have to be fast!"

They added: "Once these places are full we will create a reserve list for any other band else who is interested, but obviously cannot guarantee that they will have the chance to enter the competition."

Composition competition

4BR was also informed that the Composition competition has now also closed, and the adjudicators are already looking through the entries, with the winner to be announced within the next two weeks.

And with the event growing in popularity, the organisers have confirmed that they will be looking for a new venue in 2013.
