The Kippax Band has secured the most sought after signing of the banding year with the news that soprano legend, Peter Roberts will turn out for the band after a four and a half year lay off from playing.
The ex-Grimethorpe, YBS and Black Dyke star called band chairman Colin Moss, to ask if he could start having a blow with the band.

First appearance
Peter will make his first concert appearance with Kippax in a few weeks time, before a contesting debut at the Leicestershire Brass Band Association Contest on Sunday 27th November.
