EYMS pick up itching euph

The EYMS Band will head to London with a full compliment of euphs thanks to a return itch signing.

Euphonium player Melanie Ornsby has rejoined East Yorkshire Motor Services Band just in time to make her debut with the band at the Royal Albert Hall this weekend.

Returns

Melanie returns as 2nd euphonium to form a formidable partnership with solo euphonium Neil Johnson, with Sam Ringrose moving to beef up the baritone section.

Seven year itch

Melanie finally answered a ‘seven-year itch’ after opting to leave the band in 2004 when expecting her first child. The former graduate from the Birmingham Conservatoire is now a primary school teacher in North Lincolnshire.
