There are plenty of fantastic new releases for bands to get their hands on at the Royal Albert Hall next weekend — thanks to Kirklees Music.

Host of releases

There are a host of new releases that will be hot-off-the-press in time for the National weekend.

Printed by the latest digital colour machines we have a great selection of popular titles — and we also serve bands and the music industry with a varied selection of printing.

Black Dyke and Brighouse are a couple of our local bands to use this speedy print service!

Christmas

New Christmas titles feature the arrangements of Rick Mizell, our writer from the USA and include well known titles such as 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas', 'Jingle Bells' and 'I Wonder as I Wander'.

Also, we have 'You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch' and 'O Tannerbaum' — both of which will be sure to bring a welcome variation to your Christmas programmes.

Talented Black Dyke tenor horn player Jonathan Bates has scored a new version for horn of 'In the Bleak Mid Winter'.

Cry Me a River

You can also see the three different versions of 'Cry Me a River' — for band and trombone solo by Alan Morrison and cornet solo arranged by Adam Taylor.

Alan’s cracking cornet solo 'The Green Hornet; and Adam’s cornet feature 'It Had Better Be Tonight' have been played and recorded by top soloists already.

Terrific solos

Leigh Baker’s terrific Eb tuba solo 'Tuba Tiger Rag' was featured at the 2010 Brass in Concert Championships by Shaun Crowther and is also now available.

Wilby Collection

Our latest Philip Wilby titles are featured on 'Cathedral Brass II' by Black Dyke and include 'In a Monastery Garden', 'O For the Wings of a Dove' and 'Grand March from Scipio'.
