The Staffordshire Band has announced the appointment of Nigel Seaman as their new Professional Conductor.

Speaking of the appointment, the Band's Chairman Shaun Elliott, told 4BR: "I’m delighted that Nigel has accepted our invitation. We have been working with him since April and there is clearly a successful affinity between us."

He added: "We have plans already in place for the next six months with Nigel, so it seemed sensible to cement our relationship with this appointment. His experience and input will be of invaluable help in the development of our relationship with Forest Arts Centre as their new brass-band-in-residence."
