Death of Sheffield stalwart

4BR has been informed of the death of City of Sheffield stalwart Roy Harris.

4BR has been informed of the death of one of City Of Sheffield Band’s stalwart members.

Roy Harris who was the former BBb bass player, passed away last weekend.

Sadly missed

A spokesperson told 4BR: "Roy was a real character and one of those bandsman who always had a joke and a smile. He will be sadly missed."

The funeral takes place at Brimington Crematorium on Friday 30th September at 2.30pm for all the old band members who would like to attend.
