The David Urquart Travel Yorkshire Imperial Band has signed three more players in preparation for the National Finals in Cheltenham.

Joining from Wakefield Metropolitan Band are Andy Mitten and Mary Golder who take up the second cornet and second trombone chairs respectively, whilst Maxine Davison takes up a back row cornet position having moved from the Hatfield Colliery Band

Band Spokesperson Jess Martin told 4BR: "The signings give us a huge boost going into the forthcoming contests."
