Over three hundred Cornish musicians will come together on October 29th in Truro Cathedral to celebrate the musical life and work of Goff Richards.

Reputation

The composer who was born in St Minver, North Cornwall enjoyed a worldwide reputation for his output of accessible and enjoyable music.

He was particularly noted for his music for brass and choirs and the concert will feature a selection of his best known pieces, directed by guest conductors who have worked with him over the years.

Massed ensemble

The Cornish Federation of Male Voice Choirs is assembling a representative Choir of two hundred voices from amongst its twenty-five member choirs and in addition, four Cornish brass bands will come together to form a massed ensemble.
