7VIDEO have been commissioned to produce a documentary of up to one hour which will help to promote brass bands and market the event.
The recording team will be keen to chat to anyone on the day with any interesting stories about the event or about their band as part of the preparations for the event.
They would like to interview the youngest and the oldest players performing on the day as well as prizewinners.
A shortened version of the DVD will be uploaded onto the Council’s website after the Festival for bands to view and download.
Martyn Harris, a Director of 7VIDEO and ex Desford Colliery Band cornet and flugel player, will lead the recording team on the day.
