Wychavon Festival of Brass has announced that Dr Robert Childs and Roger Thorne will act as adjudicators this year’s entertainment event, which will take place on the weekend of September 17th and 18th in Pershore.

Judges

The Cory MD will judge the Championship, First, Second and Third Sections, whilst Roger will judge the bands in the Fourth.

Near capacity

Entries for the event are now closed, but the organisers have informed 4BR that they are delighted at the healthy number of 45 participating bands, with all but the Third Section filled to capacity.

This year the healthy prize fund has attracted bands from as far afield as Wales, North West, Yorkshire and London.

New award

This year a new award will be made separately for entertaining choreography.
