The Blidworth Welfare Band recently performed to civic guests at the 450th Anniversary of Queen Elizabeth School Mansfield.

Royal Charter

Queen Elizabeth’s School has an ancient foundation that predates the Royal Charter granted by Queen Elizabeth 1 on the 8th March 1561, for the provision of a Free Grammar School in the town of Mansfield.

The school has a glorious past and looks forward to an equally successful future supported by its Governors, the Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation, and The Nottinghamshire Local Education Authority.
