24th August:
Frank Renton presents a tribute to leading composer and arranger Goff Richards who wrote some of the most popular and successful music for bands over the last 40 years.

31st August:
Philip Wilby has been one of he country's most respected composers for many years and he joins Frank Renton talk about his career which has seen him move from the job of professional violinist to having his sixth piece, ‘Red Priest’, selected for this years British Open Championship.

7th September:
UB40's trombone player Brian Travers joins Frank Renton at the 159th British Open Brass Band Championships, to experience the joys and possible surprises of the oldest such competition in the world.

14th September:
Featuring three of the most famous bands in the world, Black Dyke, Grimethorpe and Cory, the Gala Concert following the British Open Brass Band Championships is one of the most popular events in the banding calendar.

Frank Renton presents highlights of the concert held in Symphony Hall Birmingham, and talks to Lewis Musson, recipient of the Radio 2 Young Brass Soloist Awards 2011.
