Players from the Newhall Band have recently won prizes at the recent City of Coventry and Warwickshire Festival held at the Bablake School in Coventry

Winners

Patricia Woodings, Sheila Dixon, Jo Priestley and Sharron Bradford took the top honours in the Quartet class by playing Reginald Heath’s ‘Petite Suite for Brass’, whilst Patricia also won the Open Slow Melody Class retaining the title she won the previous year.

Husband and wife

Sheila won the Open Air Varie Class with Patricia coming third.

It was a very successful day for Patricia as she also came second in the Open Duet Class playing ‘Will O’ the Wisp’ with husband Peter.
