Sparkes united

All the members of the extended Sparkes family recently did their bit for a great cause...

Jeff Sparkes

There was a family feel about the recent 90th Anniversary of The Royal British Legion (RBL) at the Oakley Centre in Crewe, as the famous banding Sparkes family all contributed significantly to the proceedings.

Mam, Dad, Sisters etc...

Jef Sparkes, conducted the Co-operative Funeralcare Band North West , whilst Jef’s wife, Sarah played flugel in the band itself.

Jef’s younger sister Annette is the Secretary for the Royal British Legion Crewe Branch, as well as playing in the band on solo horn, whilst parents, Janet & Roy Sparkes, both had key roles as members of the local British Legion branch.

We’re pulled together as a family and with the RBL Crewe Branch committee to make the night as successful as possibleJanet Sparkes

Pulled together

Roy was Master of Ceremonies for the evening, and Janet organised the highly successful raffle.

Janet told 4BR: "We’re pulled together as a family and with the RBL Crewe Branch committee to make the night as successful as possible."
