Elland Silver Band has welcomed two new signings as they get ready to trip the light fantastic.

Signings

Dominic Wood joins on solo cornet, whilst Robert Wood comes in on Eb tuba.

Meanwhile, Peter Firth moves to 2nd horn, William Spencer onto the front row, with Thomas Fox taking over on repiano.

Thanks to the advertising power of 4BR the band’s line up is now complete for Whit Friday and we are hoping to perform at 9 contests along the wayElland Silver Band

Light fantastic

The band has also been chosen to take part in the BBC3 'Light Fantastic' series, and will record their contribution to the programme at the BBC’s Manchester Studios on Saturday 25th June, where they will record a number of light classical pieces under the direction of MD, James Shepherd.
