The death has been announced of Shelagh Cole of the Parkend Band.

 

The death has been announced of Shelagh Cole, who passed away in the early hours of Monday morning.

Bands

Shelagh, 43, played in many bands including Severn Tunnel and Parkend Band.

Originally from South Wales before moving to the Forest of Dean, Shelagh leaves a loving husband Lyndon Lee Cole currently playing with Forest of Dean Brass and her two children, Jacob 13, and Leia 8 both members of Parkend Band.

Service

The funeral service will held at Parkend Church in the Forest of Dean on Thursday 16th June at 10.00 am.

It will be followed by refreshments at Parkend Social Club. The family requests that there are familly flowers only with donations made to Winston's Wish, the charity for bereaved children.

Rushden Town Band

July 18 • Second Trombone vacancy. A friendly Midlands 1st Section Band, Rushden are looking for a Second Trombone player to come and join us. Great repertoire and concerts plus contests twice per year. Every other year, the band goes on tour.
