Willson Instruments would like to offer their congratulations to James Fountain on his recent appointment to the principal cornet chair at Grimethorpe Colliery Band.

James performs exclusively on the Willson 430 Spinell VL cornet and has just returned from a very successful concert weekend as a featured soloist with with Provinciale Brassband Groningen.
During his tenure at GUS, James has been partnered by Chloe Abbot as assistant principal. Chloe is also as Willson artist and currently studying at the Guildhall School of Music. She plays on a 430 Celebration model.
James has been described as...'without doubt one of the rising stars of the 21st century brass band movement.'
