Time for Brass:
97.2, 89 & 103.7FM and 1368 AM and worldwide on www.manxradio.com
It's curious that I get far more feedback, and certainly more requests, from listeners in the UK and overseas than I do from those here in the Isle of Man.
This week's selection is in part the outcome of an e-mail from Keith
Brown in Fairlawn, New Jersey. Keith, though now permanently resident in USA, is a former Salvation Army bandsman in England and a member of the Band of the Coldstream Guards.
He attended a concert in New Jersey recently and was bowled over by what he heard, especially by guest soloist, David Childs.
Keith wrote to me to tell me about it and as a result it seemed like a good idea to share it with a wider audience. I hope our Manx Radio listeners, wherever they may be, enjoy the music as much as Keith did.
