Philip Sparke’s ‘Music for Battle Creek’ has been chosen as the set work for the 2011 Scottish Open Championships.
Commission
The work was originally commissioned with funds provided by the WK Kellogg Foundation for Brass Band of Battle Creek in Michigan USA. It was used as the set work for the National Championships of Great Britain in 2007.

Event
The event which will take place at Perth Concert Hall on the weekend 26th November will once again incorporate the Scottish Youth Championships.
