The Staffordshire Band has announced the departure of Musical Director, Huw Thomas, after two and a half years in charge.

Change needed

Chairman Shaun Elliott told 4BR: "There are times in life and banding where, despite the best efforts of everyone involved, things just don't work out as well as you'd expected or hoped.

We had a discussion with Huw and it was clear from the outset that both parties agreed that change was needed and as a result decided to part company."
