This weekend is turning out to be a busy one for Glyn and Helen Williams.
Brass final
Last night, Foden’s took part in the annual Cheshire East Schools Music Competition Final at Tatton Park, where four schools competed to become champions. Foden’s provided second half entertainment for a packed hall before the announcement of the results.
Brass for Africa
There was no stopping to enjoy the post concert celebrations however, as on Saturday Glyn and Helen will head to Kettering Salvation Army to appear as soloists with the Brass Band Aid Celebrity Band conducted by Dr Stephen Cobb
The ‘Brass for Africa’ charity concert will raise funds for the Chikankata Hospital and the John Laing Clinic and Community School, Zambia.
Glyn and Helen are taking their trade stand to the National Youth Championships at the Royal Northern College of Music on Sunday 10th April4BR
National Youth Championships
Finally on Sunday, Glyn and Helen are taking their trade stand to the National Youth Championships at the Royal Northern College of Music on Sunday 10th April.
Their display of instruments will include both new and second hand instruments from manufacturers such as Sterling, Besson and York for the next generation of brass players to view and try out.
