The first update of 2011 sees considerable movement in the World of Brass — 4barsrest.com Rankings, although Cory managed to consolidate its position as number one following its victory in the Welsh Regional Championships.

Other winners in this year’s ‘Area’ contests also fare well, with Brighouse and Rastrick moving closer to the top, while Fodens, Reg Vardy, Virtuosi GUS, Exchange Communications Whitburn, Redbridge and Woodfalls all set themselves up nicely for possibilities of more points later in the year.
The highest new entry is Lochgelly, following its outstanding third place at the Scottish Championships, while other high fliers include Hepworth, Beaumaris, Zone One, Krohnengen and Ila Brass, the latter two of which performed brilliantly at the Norwegian Championships, which were won by Eikanger-Bjørsvik.
