24th February:
This year's search for the Radio 2 Young Brass Soloist Award winner ended last Saturday as four players, accompanied by Black Dyke Band, performed to a packed audience at the Royal Northern College of Music.
Judges Paul Archibald and Les Neish reveal their winner on stage to presenter Frank Renton.
10th March:
Frank Renton presents the Whitburn Band playing music especially recorded for the programme.
They include Funiculi Funicula, My Funny Valentine and the Stevie Wonder hit You Are The Sunshine of My Life.
