The East Riding of Yorkshire Band has announced that Derek Warley has been appointed to take the band to the North of England Regional Championships at Darlington in March.

General Secretary, Michael Kerridge told 4BR: “The band has been working with Derek for the past three weeks on the Third Section test piece, ‘A Little Light Music’ and we are looking forward to the contest.”
