Anne has been a devoted follower and non playing member of the band for many years and became President in 2009. Geof was a player for the band from the 1960s through to the 1980s and is a currently a bass player with Dodworth Band. He is also Secretary at the Thoresby Colliery Social Club in Edwinstowe.

Yes

The couple have known each other for many years so Anne was only too happy to say 'Yes' when Geof got down on one knee for a romantic proposal whilst away with the band at the Butlins Contest in Skegness.

Geof presented a stunning diamond engagement ring to Anne who was also joined by her daughter and son in law for their very special weekend.
