Out of this world
Spencer Down, Docklands Sinfonia’s founder and MD told 4BR: "We are honoured and excited that such a phenomenal talent is performing with the orchestra. Rex’s playing is out of this world. And for this piece, it needs to be. It’s not called Rextreme for nothing."
Gift
Rex added: "I couldn't be more excited about presenting this wonderful new concerto in the world's greatest musical city. To be able to do so with this fantastic young orchestra under Spencer Down's expert guidance — well, for me it's a gift.
I hope everyone else enjoys it as much as I will!"
