Despite the Russian winter conditions on the Isle of Man over Christmas, the appropriately named Rushen Silver Band still managed to provide their usual popular musical fare – and in doing so raised much needed funds.

Hard work

Thanks to the hard work of players and members they managed to raise over £2,600, despite frozen fingers and instruments!

Milder weather

With milder weather now on its ways the bandroom has been given a new lick of paint, and the band is looking forward to hosting the Leyland Band in concert later in the year.
