Future
Chairman Graham Borthwick told 4BR: "We are delighted and grateful to receive such a grant.
The future of the band is always a concern especially when there are so many other things to occupy young minds. Seeing all these youngsters with the passion to take up the challenge of a new instrument not only at Selkirk but across the Borders shows that the future of the Border bands seem to be healthy for some time to come. Certainly for us it’s a great time to look to the future."
