So if you want your band to get to grips with the great concert feature, ‘King Solomon’s Mines’ by Rodney Newton, the brilliant fanfare opener ‘Flame of Independence’ and the luscious flugel solo ‘Moonbeams’ by Dan Price, the wonderfully atmospheric ‘Mist of the Forest’ by Gareth Wood and the enjoyable test piece, ‘Constellations’ by Philip Harper – and still have time after practice to enjoy a good read about the history of the world’s top brass bands, then make sure you get your answer into us!
