New MD at South Milford Brass

Martin Hall has been appointed the new MD at South Milford Band.

Martin Hall has been appointed as the new MD of South Milford Brass.

Martin studied the cornet under James Shepherd and Richard Marshall and has played principal cornet with Championship Section bands such as Wakefield Metropolitan, Drighlington and Knottingley Silver, as well as being a regular dep with Black Dyke.

Delighted

Band Secretary Claire Bramley told 4BR: "We are delighted to welcome Martin to South Milford Brass. We were impressed by his enthusiasm and ideas for moving the band forward and we are really looking forward to working with him."
