Bailey's new flavour for Burry Port

Burry Port get a taste for the Bailey's at Blaenavon.

Burry Port Town ended their 2010 contesting season on something of a high at the weekend at Blaenavon in the final contest of the Welsh League series.

Under conductor Phil Bailey they came second to eventual winners and 2010 Welsh League champion BTM, playing the set work, ‘Les Preludes’.

Pleased

The band was especially pleased as they were able to field several recent signings, some new faces and some older ones.

Rhys Davies, Roger Boyle, Charlotte Philips and Jemma Smith boosted the cornet section, whilst Geraint Thomas and Lowri Daniels came in on trombone.
