The Shirley Band has announced that they have secured the services of David Bishop-Rowe to lead the band at the Midlands Regional Contest in March next year.

A spokesperson told 4BR: "David brings with him a wealth of musical knowledge and contesting experience and following a break from contesting himself, is looking forward to preparing the band for the challenges presented by Carnival Romain."
