The British Federation of Brass Bands has confirmed to 4BR that the date for the 2011 English National Championship to be held at Preston's Guild Hall, will be the 25th June.

The BFBB has also revealed that they have managed to gain sponsorship for their flagship event and will reveal further details of possible contest changes after results of consultation with bands is completed in the next week or so.
