Crewe set for Heroes

United Co-operative Crewe are getting ready to honour some special heroes...

Crewe

Help for Heroes fundraiser Steve Pragnall recently paid a visit to the United Co-operative Crewe’s bandroom to hear how preparations for their forthcoming concert are going.

VIP guests

The concert will be the first to be held at the New Danebank Theatre at South Cheshire College, and amongst the audience will be VIP guests from the Mercian Regiment, injured in the line of duty.

Huge respect

Band spokesperson Jane Smart told 4BR: "There is such huge respect for our Armed Forces and the life-changing sacrifices they continue to make and the band is looking forward to performing for them.

It will be a great privilege to have members of the Mercian Regiment, injured in the line of duty, as Honoured Guests at the concert. We hope that local people will get behind Help for Heroes and join us for a very special evening."

Local support

Local support for the unique event has been highly encouraging, and the band hope to do their musical bit to help raise plenty of money for a tremendous cause.
