The Wilsden Band recently provided plenty of fine musical entertainment at their 17th annual concert
Capacity
Playing to a capacity audience with extra chairs brought in for the occasion, the band delighted everyone with a well received music programme of items which reflected the overall improvement over the year, under the auspices of MD Ken Lee.
Two soloists played 'spotlight items' — solo tenor horn Ruth Maguire contributing a very emotional 'He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother' and solo euphonium Andy Hansen, faultlessly entertaining with 'Blaydon Races.'
