Record entry list for Leicester Open

A record 56 bands will compete at this year's Leicester Open.

A record entry of 56 bands will be set to compete at this year’s Leicester Open.

The competition will be held on Sunday 28th November at the adjoining schools of Burleigh College and Garendon High in Loughborough, Leicestershire.

Secretary Lesley Bentley told 4BR: "I'm delighted at the high number of entries for what is now proving a popular competition."

The organisers would like to advise bands that the closing date for further entries has now passed. The adjudicators have been confirmed as John Berryman, Derek Southcott, David Lancaster and Marie Smith.
