On the eve of their 64th annual pre National Finals concert recently, Enfield Citadel Band recieved news that bass trombonist Stuart Horton had been taken ill and was unable to take part in their flagship concert.

Help on hand

Help was on hand however as Bandmaster Jonathan Corry contacted his close friend, Nathan Power. Nathan regularly performs with the Ulster Orchestra, RTE Concert Orchestra and the Cyprus State Symphony Orchestra and was more than willing to help out.

The band would like to publicly thank Nathan for stepping in at such late notice and giving up his entire weekend with usBandmaster Jonathan Corry.
