Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Band launched its new look website.

The site which is sponsored by a local company, has been created 'in house' and is the handy work of second euphonium player Andy Kennedy.

In depth and in house

The new site contains information regarding the bands concert and contest engagements, along with in-depth player profiles including biographies and vital statistics.

There is also a newly developed guestbook where people can pass on their kind regards and a members area, keeping players up to date too!

The new look site is fantastic, and gives the band one of the most professional looking sites in the movementBand Manager, Steve Thompson

Fantastic

Band Manager Steve Thompson told 4BR: "The new look site is fantastic, and gives the band one of the most professional looking sites in the movement. The detailed engagements and news sections are a great way for the band to keep their followers informed of goings on."

National preparations

Meanwhile, the band has been working under resident conductor John Ward, before professional conductor Phillip McCann comes in to finalise their preparations for the Royal Albert Hall.
