The North West Amatuer Brass Band Association recently made a wonderful award of their prestigious Diploma of Honour to Harry Hudson, the solo euphonium player with the Cadishead Public Band.

The presentation, which included a special medal in recognition of his 50 years of service was made at the band's Annual Autumn Concert held in Irlam, Manchester.
Harry is one of few players who have enjoyed their banding career with just the one band, having joined Cadishead in 19604BR

Originally a cornet player he has also played tenor horn, baritone and now euphonium in service of his beloved band.
