The latest 4BR Quiz winner has been announced, picking up the great musical prize of a full set and score of the wonderful 'Aspects of Adiemus' by Karl Jenkins
Statue of Liberty
John Watts of Reading was picked out of the electronic hat and the MD of the Berkshire Youth Band is delighted that his correct answer, that the Statue of Liberty is 305 foot tall (the answer was in the 4BR review of the latest Prima Vista Musikk releases) won his young band a great set of music to play in future concerts and contests.
Great news
"It’s great news – especially as we had our first rehearsal back with the band only yesterday," John told 4BR.
"It’s lovely music and I was keen to get it for the band to play in concerts and even contests this year. Now we can start work on it at our next rehearsal."

Eager players
The Berkshire Youth Band is made up of players between the ages of 11 and 18, and this year John has a new batch of eager youngsters joining the ranks.
"We lost quite a few players due to them leaving for university and college at the end of the last academic year, so the hard work starts all over again," he told 4BR.
"The good news though is that there is a really vibrant feel about brass music making in Berkshire at the moment and we hope to be able to make further progress with our young players this year. An this music will really help us do that too."
