The Flowers Band have recently said goodbye to two of its cornet section.
Long serving member and third cornet Dan Sharpe has left due to recent health problems whilst second cornet Neil Allen has left to spend more time with his family.
Goodbye
Band Manager Lee Downie commented to 4BR: "We are very sorry to say goodbye to both Neil and Dan and would like to thank them for their undoubted commitment to the band. We wish them well for the future."

Wychavon pull out
Flowers have also announced that they are to pull out of the forthcoming Wychavon Entertainments Contest, with Lee Downie adding: "We have regrettably decided to withdraw from this year's Wychavon contest due to current vacancies that we have within the band. This in turn will give us more time to build back to full strength in time for the National Finals in October, with new signings to be announced very soon."
