New position
Casey has accepted the position of Visiting Assistant Professor of Music at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas and will begin his new teaching position at the end of August.
Creativity
A band spokesperson told 4BR: "Casey brought great enthusiasm, musicianship, dedication, and leadership to the band beginning with his very first rehearsal. Through his association with the University of Iowa, he was able to bring new musicians to the band and these new players brought masterful playing skill to the group."
They added: "Casey’s creativity extended to writing new arrangements for the band, programming exciting concerts, and incorporating small groups and ensembles into every performance."
