St Helens March & Hymn Tune Contest

There is a big pot of cash to be won at the forthcoming St Helens March and Hymn Contest – but you need to get your entries in pronto!

The 3rd St Helens March & Hymn Tune Contest will take place at St Helen’s Town Hall on Saturday 18th September, with competing bands looking to win a portion of the huge prize pot of £5,500 – one of the biggest prize funds for a contest such as this in the banding world.

Five sections

There are five sections for bands to enter, with the overall March winners picking up a cool £1,000 for their efforts.

The overall March winners in each section will also pick up £500, whilst each of the leading Hymn winners will win £200.

The overall March winners in each section will also pick up £500, whilst each of the leading Hymn winners will win £2004BR

Entries needed

Entries are required though as soon as possible, as there is a real threat under the current economic climate that if the contest is not supported, funding may be withdrawn for further events.
